CleanMark Labels, a leading innovator of high performance, complex, high performance labeling solutions for laboratory, life sciences, medical device, and semiconductor industries, is adding a Screen Press Operator to our team! We need your two plus years of Screen Press or related large scale equipment experience, high energy, upbeat personality, detail skills and ability to learn our various manufacturing processes. Screen Press Operator responsibilities include:
-Operating both clam shell and roll Screen Presses to produce high performance, high-quality labels that meet customers’ requirements.
-Running jobs in a timely manner with minimum waste.
-Reviewing customer order blueprints for accurate graphics, quantity, stock, color, varnish, etc.
-Properly flagging and troubleshooting issues.
-Adhering to safety practices of operating a press and maintaining a clean work area.
-Inspecting press parts and product upline on a regular basis
-Other responsibilities as needed
-Joining in continuous improvement initiatives ongoing
Job Requirements
- Basic math and measurement aptitude
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s Degree or combination of similar education and experience
- Two plus years of successful experience running industrial Screen Presses or large scale equipment
- Energetic and enthusiastic self-starter and team-player
- Must be able to accurately setup, run, cleanup, and perform routine maintenance on industrial roll and clam shell Screen Presses
- Carry out basic routine maintenance, troubleshooting, setup and cleanup activities
- Ability to correctly web material through roll press during setup
- Conduct proper registration of print on back or front of material for each job
- Experience with or ability to learn correct ink setup and quality check during print runs
