Flexo Press Operator

CleanMark Labels, a leading innovator of high performance, complex labeling solutions for laboratory, life sciences, medical device, and semiconductor industry solutions, is adding a Flexo Press Operator to our team!  We need your  two plus years of Flexo Operator experience, high energy, upbeat personality, detail skills and ability to learn  our various manufacturing processes to join a dedicated team in a continuous learning environment! 

Responsibilities include:

-Operating a flexographic press to produce high-quality labels that meet customers’ requirements.

-Running jobs in a timely manner with minimum waste.

-Reviewing customer order blueprints for accurate graphics, quantity, stock, color, varnish, etc.

-Properly flagging and troubleshooting issues.

-Adhering to safety practices of operating a press and maintaining a clean work area.

-Inspecting press parts and product upline on a regular basis

-Other responsibilities as needed

-Joining in continuous improvement initiatives ongoing

Job Requirements

• Basic math and measurement aptitude
• High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s Degree or combination of similar education and experience
• Two plus years of successful experience running industrial Flexographic presses
• Energetic and enthusiastic self-starter and team-player
• Must be able to accurately setup, run, cleanup, and perform routine maintenance on industrial Flexographic presses (4,6, & 8-color experience preferred)
• Understanding of or ability to gain understanding of manufacturing and production methodologies and to observe workflow and anticipate needs without prompting once trained.
• Competency in learning new computer systems for tracking of manufacturing processes related to the position
• Ability to carry out appropriate upline quality inspection to meet ISO and QMS standards
• Excellent work ethic, including proven attendance, quality, safety and communication skills from past work or qualification during the interview process
• Ability to take initiative to raise questions and carry out self-learning activities
• Teamwork skills
• Ability to follow the policies and procedures set in place by CleanMark Labels
• Team attitude and flexibility to work quickly and with accuracy
• Strong detail skills, the ability to organize and follow directions
• Good conflict resolution skills and ability to address issues directly or raise to the Director of Operations as appropriate/if necessary
• Flexible and positive attitude to be able to perform other duties as assigned
