Press Operator 1St Shift

GLT International is a Tape Converter specializing in designing, fabricating, and distributing die-cut solutions to both automotive and non- automotive sectors. We are looking for experienced Rotary, Stamping, or Rewind / Slitter operators. This position reports directly to the Production Manager. Our work environment is rewarding, fast-paced and supportive, and our goal is to provide a long-term career for a machine operator.

Job Requirements:

~Have the ability to read a job schedule, work instructions, and part prints.
~Set up and tear down press (install tooling into applicable machinery).
~Visual inspection, measuring equipment (i.e. ruler, caliper, micrometer, etc.).
~Properly document production quantities, production times, and quality problems.
~Package parts correctly for shipping.
~Keep area clean and organized.
~Input information into computer for proper tracking of inventory and waste.
~Occasional bending, reaching, twisting and stooping.

General Requirements:

~Good machine/mechanical ability.
~Basic math skills, ability to accurately calculate or verify production yields.
~Quick learning aptitude.
~Must be able to lift up-to 70lbs.
~Safety orientated, team player, problem solver and self-starter.
~High School diploma or GED minimum.
~Must have reliable transportation and have great attendance.

Job Type: Full-Time – Monday through Friday / 8-hour shifts.

Salary: $18.00 – $22 per hour; based on skills, experience, and training needs.
