WestRock in Lansing, MI is looking for a FlexoPress Operatorfor our 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm). This position starts pays based on experience with a $2.00/hour shift differential.
HIRING IMMEDIATELY.
GENERAL PURPOSE: Responsible for the efficient set-up, operation and maintenance of multicolor flexographic printing press to produce high quality printed components for the pharmaceutical packaging industry.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Conducts make-ready by installing anilox rollers, plates, inks and dies into the proper stations, making the necessary adjustments for optimal print quality.
- Ensures all materials meet the requirements of customer specifications.
- Uses good ink management to ensure color match is met and maintained throughout run.
- Follows established standard operating procedures.
- Conducts Line Clearance.
- Pulls QC retains for approval.
- Completes all required documentation.
- Responsible for material handling and product segregation.
- Performs preventative maintenance and housekeeping of work stations.
- Performs other job duties as assigned.

- Must be flexible and willing to work overtime.
- Must be able to manage time effectively.
- Must be able to problem solve effectively.
- Must have basic computer skills or be trainable.
- Must have good mathematical skills.
- Must have good written and communications skills.
- Must be attentive to detail.
