Preschool Teacher

“Wee Care” is a pre-school and child-development center, providing a loving and safe, Christian-based environment for children Ages 6 weeks to 12 years.

Our curriculum includes language, math, science, worship, practical life, art, blocks, manipulative, dramatic play, children's discovery and outside play. We provide opportunities to explore and discover, promote independence with choices, and create a sense of responsibility within our children.

We are seeking qualified, experienced, fun loving and committed teachers who are qualified for Infant and preschool as well.

Preschool Classroom 8:00-5:30

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Providing children with opportunities to explore and discover

· Encouraging children to excel academically and physically

· Nurturing social and emotional growth

· Working as a team with other teachers and staff (This is a flexible and team teaching position)

· Communicating and working with children’s families

· Teaching academic pre-kindergarten program

· Teaching daily bible lessons

· Supervising indoor and outside play

Minimum Qualifications:

· Infant/toddler experience & qualifications

· Preschool experience & qualifications

· 12 Early Childhood Education Units required!!!

· Experience teaching in an ECE classroom

· CPR & first aid certification

· Fingerprint clearance

· Experience teaching and/or knowledge of the Bible

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
