We are seeking a Project Manager to simultaneously manage multiple projects beginning at the pricing phase through closeout. Working closely with Business Development, Designers and Installation Supervisors, this person will ensure project execution and product installation is carried out seamlessly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create installation quotes to include labor, materials and trades required for a complete scope of work on multiple projects, also may include shipping, storage, lodging, logistics and regulatory compliance in Omaha as well as other municipalities.
  • Review construction documents developed by Architect/Engineer, as well as in house generated production information and drawings for accuracy and DIRTT system constructability.
  • Be comfortable learning and using DIRTT’s proprietary software suite (ICE) which integrates with the manufacturer and converts DIRTT design documents into working installation drawings. Also use software to access pertinent information needed to ensure a successful installation and address any issues which may arise.
  • Field verification of dimensions and other site conditions to ensure readiness for install.
  • Review and monitor budgeted hours and develop productivity plans to meet project milestones and profitability requirements/goals.
  • Effectively manage RFI’s, submittals, change orders, charge backs, warranty claims and close out documents.
  • Perform deficiency orders, punch lists, post installation walk throughs with Clients and General Contractors and rectify issues in a timely manner.
  • Organize and submit orders in conjunction with VP and Design Director.
  • Schedule and manage AOI self-performed and/or contract labor installation personnel.
  • Make regular site visits and contact with onsite personnel including the general contractor and sub-trades.
  • Working knowledge of jurisdictional and building code requirements particularly framing, egress, casework, power and networks, etc. to ensure DIRTT solutions are installed to specifications and quality standards.
  • Safety conscious, clean, organized, quality oriented and effective communicator with a win/win approach. Must love being a part of a team.
  • Other relative duties as assigned.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in construction management, engineering, construction technology, estimating, or related field preferred; or equivalent related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
  • Minimum 3 to 7 years related construction and/or project management
  • Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Office, or related software knowledge and experience required.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification desired

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to effectively collaborate with project stakeholders, including the DIRTT Champion and Designer, ensuring positive client experiences.
  • Strong organization and project management skills essential for handling multiple projects, tight deadlines, and varying project scopes ranging from $5,000 to $5 million.
  • Ability to solve practical problems, interpret instructions effectively, and adapt to situations where standardization may be limited.
  • Aptitude with technology and a proactive attitude toward learning new tools and techniques.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to recall project details and scopes of work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective interactions with clients and team members.
  • Exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Must have knowledge and operational understanding of OSHA, building codes, and state, local, and federal regulations related to the construction
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret commercial construction
  • Ability to develop critical path schedule and monitor, adjust workflow, sequences and labor to achieve desired completion.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and
  • A high sense of urgency, able to execute tasks efficiently and calmly when multitasking and quick thinking are required.
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong energy level and proactive approach.
