Location: Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Texas
Solutions Manager – Managed IT, Cloud and Cyber Security (Pre-Sales Engineer) develops managed solutions, sales proposals, pricing, specifications, and presentations. Working closely with the Sales and Operation to qualify and position opportunities and customers to attain personal, sales and organizational goals. Evangelize UDT’s vision of Digital Secure Transformation solutions to strategically address customer pain points and needs while aligning to their goals and future IT initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to explain to customers the value of solutions and services.
- Perform discovery to qualify and prioritize opportunities.
- Architect, build and price Managed Solutions.
- Work with solution team through the product management process and life cycle.
- Understand and maintain relevant to market trends and technologies (Cloud, IT Infrastructure, Cyber Security, End User Support Services, etc..)
- Communicate with the sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary.
- Establish customer rapport and acceptance.
- Plan for modifications to solutions and services to meet consumer demands.
- Recommend new and improved solutions customers and explain how the solution is of value and deliver cost-effectiveness.
- Work with cross functional solutions team and operations teams to understand services and solutions to integrate and architect managed solutions to fit.
- Strong Technical aptitude in Compute/Server, Network (Access and core layers), Perimeter technologies, virtual and storage, etc..
- Strong communication and presentation skills to audiences of all levels and sizes.
- Build formal solution quotes, proposals and contracts
- Participate and deliver internal and customer facing webinars
- Build, prepare and maintain demo environments
- Work with Customer Success and Service Delivery teams for service/solution improvements
- Create new opportunities within existing and new customers
- Maintain Sales Pipeline information accurate and consistent with UDT systems
- Travel within and outside the state of Florida
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
- 5 years of Technical Pre-Sales experience
- Preferably Managed Services, Cyber Security and/or Cloud
- Excellent Presentation and organizational skills
- Entrepreneurial skills and aptitude
- Independent, Resourceful and TEAM PLAYER
- Technical Certifications a plus (Cloud, Security, Managed, etc..)
