Pre-Registration Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team in a Pre-Registration Role. In this role: You will schedule all new patients, call to register new patients, call for medical, testing for patient appointments. Reschedule patients as needed, Send letters to referring providers for cancelled appts. Other duties as required for the position. Assist with front desk as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Collect and verify patient information, including personal details and insurance coverage
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Enter patient data accurately into the electronic medical records system
- Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times

Skills:
- Proficient in medical scheduling software (e.g., HealthFusion)
- Strong knowledge of medical administrative support procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

-Helpful to have skills and be familiar with most common medications
- Proficient in using office equipment (e.g., computer, printer, scanner)
- Familiarity with front desk operations in a medical office setting

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
