Form of workSpur, a digital staffing agency, is looking for hard-working and punctual PRE-K Aux Teachers. The Pre-K OSR Aide Position will work alongside the Certified Teacher and assist in learning activities and classroom management. An Bachelors degree or higher and nine credit hours in early childhood or child development courses are required. These positions will work Monday - Friday when school is in session. Pay is $76.90 per hour.
The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, adhering to the rules and guidelines set by the school and Spur. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and approachable attitude, understanding the importance of supporting teachers and/or school staff in enhancing the learning environment for students. The primary duty of this position will be working alongside teachers and staff in their day-to-day activities. Candidates are expected to always represent the school and program in a positive and professional manner. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
Duties expected of this position are:
- Assisting in preparation of instructional materials and physical environment
- Assisting in planning and preparation for group and individual activities
- Supervising students as assigned, during instructional and non-instructional activities
- Providing individual and group instructional support to reinforce skills
- Providing enrichment and remedial assistance as required
- Assisting with testing and evaluation to determine student progress
- Participating in activities that will develop positive interaction in the instructional process
- Performing other related tasks as assigned
- Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for an extended period of time.
Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain a clear State of Alabama Background check
- Bachelors degree or higher with 9 credit hours being in early childhood or child development.

Compensation
- This position pays $76.90
- Job Hours: 7:30 - 2:45 or 3:00
