Johns Hopkins Health System is proud to announce the launch of a brand-new medical office practice in Arlington, VA, opening its doors in July 2024! We are on the lookout for a dedicated Nurse Manager to join our team today! As the Nurse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our new practice, overseeing clinical staff, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety, spearheading ambulatory initiatives, and contributing to the successful launch of our facility. The Nurse Manager will provide leadership to achieve, unit, departmental, and institutional objectives within a rapidly changing environment. The position applies advanced knowledge of nursing and management to manage systems of patient care, personnel development, fiscal and unit operations, performance improvement, and program development. The Nurse Manager promotes innovation and excellence in clinical, service, and team performance.

Who Should Apply:
  • MSN from an accredited nursing program preferred. BSN is required, with Master's in Nursing within three (3) years of hire.
  • Current unencumbered licensure with the MD Board of Registered Professional Nurses, or appropriate state board where services will be provided, as a registered professional nurse OR current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) if the state where services will be provided is included.
  • Requires 5 years of experience as a registered nurse (within the specialty preferred), including 3-5 years of leadership and/or management responsibilities
  • Ability to lead others, problem solve, analyze and interpret data, adapt to rapidly changing priorities and environments, and create a climate that fosters compassionate care, innovation, cooperation, collaboration, and teamwork
  • Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.

The preferred candidate will have a management background in an ambulatory, Rehab or SNF setting. The Nurse Manager will have direct oversight of a staff of 10 medical professionals within the first year and expanding the team in future years.
