Practical Nursing Part-Time Clinical Assistant

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current Missouri license to practice professional nursing (undisciplined)
• Associate's degree in Nursing or higher
• Three years of acute care experience in the last five years
• Teaching experience preferred
• Active in professional organizations preferred

• The instructor will work no more than 500 hours
• Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience
• Provide clinical supervision and evaluation of students
• Be accessible for student counseling, providing time, privacy, and referrals as needed
• Work to promote desirable relationships with cooperating agencies and to promote positive community relationships
• Work with the coordinator to evaluate student progress and recommend necessary adjustments throughout the program
• Assist the coordinator in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the clinical
• Maintain records on student progress and attendance and other information as required
• Perform such responsibilities as may be assigned by the Director and Adult Education Coordinator
