About the Role:
Step into the role of Powder Coat Tech at Custom Industrial Products. As a crucial member of our manufacturing team, you will be the artisan behind enhancing the durability and aesthetic appeal of our products through precision Powder Coating.
Responsibilities:
- Meticulously apply powder on parts/assemblies, adhering to customer specifications.
- Read and interpret manufacturing technical drawings for precise masking and Powder Coating.
- Operate various Powder Coat-related equipment with expertise (hand sanders, angle grinders, sandblaster, etc.).
- Set up and skillfully use the Powder Coating gun for optimal application.
- Execute job schedules provided by the supervisor, meeting high-quality standards.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Promptly notify maintenance of any equipment issues, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Candidate Requirements:
- 1+ years of hands-on Powder Coating experience preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lifting more than 100 pounds based on the part being processed.
- Perform tasks requiring twisting, turning, grasping, reaching, kneeling, crawling, pulling, and extended periods of standing.
