Role Description

This full-time, on-site Postpartum Doula role is located in the Greater Seattle Area. As a Postpartum Doula, your day-to-day tasks will include providing support to new parents and their babies, including but not limited to: breastfeeding support, baby care education, sleep training, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. You will work closely with families to tailor your services to their individual needs and provide expert guidance and care during this transformative time. At this time, having availability to work 40 + hours a week is preferred. Our day shifts are 5-6 hours long, and night-time shifts are 10 hours long. We also have live-in positions available.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Postpartum Doula
• Basic knowledge of newborn baby care and breastfeeding techniques
• Positive attitude, patience, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathetic and non-judgmental approach to supporting new parents
• Able to work flexible hours and adapt to the changing needs of families
• Must be able to pass a background check
• CPR & First Aid certified
• Willing to take a doula training certification of our choice
• Reliable vehicle/ willingness to travel up to an hour
• Covid vaccinated
• Twins experience a plus

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Overnight shift
