Postdoctoral Scientist - Microbiology - position is available in CrossLife Technologies. CrossLife Technologies is dedicated to developing and commercializing novel diagnostics based on innovative nucleic acid technologies for various diseases.

We have an immediate opening for a Postdoctoral Scientist - Microbiology. She/He will engage in the design and microbial production of protein building blocks that generate innovative materials with programmable patterns, architectures, and emergent biological functions. The project will involve research at the intersections of biological and (bio)chemical engineering, and synthetic biology. This person will be involved in the R&D of medical point-of-care diagnostic products and performed all duties and tasks assigned by supervisors. .

We are seeking a person who has :

* hands-on experiences in a wide variety of Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and Biochemistry techniques.

* hands-on experiences in point-of-care diagnostics

* ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities

* ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with extreme deadlines and deliverables

* ability to juggle and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

* willingness to learn and take on new challenges

* experience using both Macs and PCs

* Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)

* familiarity with laboratory and sterile techniques as well as a working knowledge of standard laboratory equipment and reagents

Requirements :

* Ph.D. of Science of Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Bioengineering or related filed and a minimum of 1 years related work experience

* Experience in with genetic engineering, synthetic biology methods, protein design, engineering and purification, qPCR using TaqMan

* Strong experience i Microbiology, Molecular Biology including standard cloning techniques, sequence analysis, DNA and RNA extraction, ligation, PCR
