We are looking for a candidate with experience in the field of Bioengineering /electrochemistry / electroanalytical chemistry, electrochemical sensor, biosensors or related areas.
In this role, you will be dedicated to the development of new and innovative biosensor technology used in CrossLife tech's point-of-care diagnostic devices.
Core Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of innovative scientists, using cutting-edge technologies to develop advanced cellular models for drug discovery and development. The selected candidate should be a self-motivated, driven, thorough and careful experimentalist with the ability to multitask, think independently and work in a highly creative, interactive and fast-paced team environment. They also will be expected to work independently as well-trained problem solvers and presentation skills are required. The selected applicants will keep accurate and complete records of all scientific experiments according to established procedures and ensure that these records and raw data are properly retained. They will draft technical reports, manuscripts and patent applications and present work to internal and external collaborators as needed. The selected candidates also should be eligible to work in the U.S.
Qualifications:
* Ph.D. degree in Bioengineering/ Biochemistry / Electrochemistry / Electroanalytical chemistry with research focus in biosensor or immunosensors; post-doc experience or related industrial experience is helpful
* strong background in electroanalytical techniques and method development
* strong skills in utilizing Excel for data analysis

* capable of working on multiple research projects and ability to affectively manage multiple assigned tasks simultaneously
* strong problem-solving ability
Essential duties :
* optimize and develop nucleic acid detection or immunoassays for point-of-care applications
* design, perform, and analyze experiments, including:
- nanoparticle conjugations
-isothermal amplification or PCR
- lateral flow assay development
- antibody screening and selection
- antigen screening, purification and modification
- assay-instrument integration
- statistical data analysis
