Post-Production Specialist

About Dogtopia:

Dogtopia, the leading dog daycare provider with more than 230 locations operating in 40+ states in the USA and Canada, has an immediate opening for a Post-Production Specialist with strong skills in video and audio editing.

Position Summary:

We’re looking for someone who is excited for an opportunity to craft engaging videos and elevate their editing skills, collaborating across various departments to deliver branded training videos while also taking initiative, being flexible, always pushing for creative, innovative aesthetics and solutions.

Experience with editing, audio and a solid understanding of video composition is a must as well as keen eye for detail along with an understanding of how to think creatively within established brand guidelines.

This position is Phoenix-based.

Position Duties/Responsibilities:

· Edit footage in post-production

· Sometimes assist with filming videos on location

· Improve and correct footage as needed

· Insert dialog, music, graphics, etc. to enhance videos

· Ability to follow a storyboard or outline and take initiative in line with desired goals when needed

· Collaborate with the instructional designer to deliver approved, finished assets

· Assemble raw footage, transfer or upload to a computer

· Other like tasks as assigned

The Ideal Candidate will have the Following Qualifications:

· Experience editing video content

· Excellent organizational and project management skills

· Knowledge of lighting principles, white balance and audio recording/editing

· 1-3 years career experience and ability to demonstrate skills

· Competent in Adobe Suite (Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.)

· Competent in standard MS Office applications

· Desire to learn new technologies/platforms; aiming to master new concepts quickly

· BA/BS or higher education preferred, but not required

· After effects and motion graphics experience a bonus, but not required
