CHOP + PREP TEAM MEMBER JOB DESCRIPTION

Chop + Prep Team Members work together with their TEAM to aid with all aspects of the Post-Harvest Chop + Prep process. Under the direct oversite of their Team Leader and Cultivation Manager, this TEAM manages all tasks related to preparing high end premium cannabis flowers for trimming based on various work instructions, processes, and techniques performed as a part of daily routine operations.

As a Post-Harvest TEAM Member, you will:

• Prepare harvested plants for the drying process
• Prepare dried plants / flowers for the trimming process
• Identify and separate cannabis by size and quality Bigs, Mids and Smalls.
• Efficiently identify, separate, and understand the difference between hand trim and machine trim flower
• Recognize individual cannabis strains based on identifying factors such as appearance and terpene profile
• Remove the instructed amount of water leaf, sugar leaf and stems without damaging the flower's structure
• Participate in training and follow work instructions to create a consistent high-quality finished product
• Flex into other cultivation, Post-Harvest and Manufacturing activities, such as pre-roll manufacturing and packaging finished goods
• Assist in other tasks as deemed necessary from management
• Clean all work areas involved, e.g., sweeping, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces and common spaces. TEAM members MUST prioritize Cleanliness and Organization

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by a Team Member to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.

The TeamMember must have the ability to sort cannabis on time and keep pace with the collective team’s work production.

The Team Member must have the physical ability to sit / stand for an 8-hour period while sorting cannabis.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This position is full-time hourly. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. (Hours are subject to change), depending on the schedule. Overtime is sometimes required during the week or weekends.

AGE REQUIREMENT

· Must be 21 years of age (State Requirement)

COMPENSATION

$18.00 Per Hour

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Basic math skills.

· High school Diploma
