The Post Harvest team is responsible for properly preparing harvested flower for processing. The Post Harvest Tech will also be responsible for equipment sanitization and sterilization as well as maintaining facilities cleanliness. This position works cooperatively with other team members to provide care and support for plant trimming, curing, processing, and packaging.

Post Harvest Techs are responsible for performing all tasks in accordance with company policy, production timelines, and compliance regulations.
Responsibilities
- Accurately weigh and record post-harvest materials
- Follow Standard Operating procedures for trimming, drying, and curing cannabis harvests in preparation for processing and packaging
- Maintain a neat and organized work area allowing for the proper segregation of materials and processes
- Ability to precisely and efficiently trim flower in accordance with quality and regulatory standards
- Responsible for organizing work areas and performing daily tasks such as washing and sanitizing equipment and racking systems
- Sanitization and sterilization of post-harvest processing equipment
- Strict adherence to procedures and practices according to internal SOP and state regulation
- Strong emphasis on documentation according to state regulations
- Assist with processing, packaging, and other duties as assigned
- Possess basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Be a cooperative team player, as well as be able to work independently for extended periods of time
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One or more years of cultivation experience preferred
- Ability to pass a background check required
- Team player, willing to take direction and learn new skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and a flexible schedule when needed
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multi-task with effective time management
- Willingness to comply with state regulations and guidelines
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, walking, and repetitive movements
- Must be able to maintain highest levels of cleanliness and personal hygiene
- Must be able to move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl while working with ladders and heights

Compensation and Benefits
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Benefits include overtime, 75% employer paid health insurance, and paid time off for full-time employees.
Schedule:
- 8-10 hour shifts
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Salary
$16 - $18 per hour
