What You’ll Do
The Post Closing Specialist is primarily responsible for efficiently and accurately auditing closed
loans, resolving any audit findings, and issuing any corrections to borrowers. This position also
supports the post-closing functions of the Secondary Marketing department.
Your Key Responsibilites Include:
• Primary responsibility is to audit the Closing Disclosure for any errors proactively and rectify
them in a timely manner.
• Audit each closed loan document repository for specific required documents.
• Obtain Final Settlement Statements Document from escrow agents to perform review
for accuracy and completeness.
• Resolve discrepancies with internal and external parties in a timely manner.
• Update the origination system based on audit findings to Issue Post Consummation CD
within prescribed timeframes.
• Send documents to borrowers within the prescribed timeframe.
• Review daily reports to maintain file aging within the prescribed timeframes.
• Update post-closing and document status dates in the loan origination system for
accurate reporting.
• Assist internal departments to resolve audit findings post-closing.
• Prepare and distribute status reports as necessary.
• Contribute to weekly post-closing planning meetings.
• Returns all phone calls received, including from Borrowers, Investors, Inspire Home
Loans staff, Century Communities staff, escrow, and title representatives. Calls received
prior to 3:00pm by the end of the day, and all calls received after 3:00pm by 10:00am
the next day.
• Perform any and all other duties at the direction of their manager
What You Have:
• Demonstrated ability and motivation to meet and exceed established deadlines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for
compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position
including but not limited to the following: Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act),
Regulation B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act), Fair Housing Act (FHA), Home Mortgage
Disclosure Act (HMDA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Credit
Reporting Act (FCRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act,
Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Information Program (CIP), Right to
Financial Privacy Act (RFPA, state and federal) and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; Microsoft
Office applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
including the drafting and interpretation of data reports, bar graphs and pivot tables.
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply
common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, understand procedures,
write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to business partners and
employees
• Ability to work with general supervision while performing duties

Your Education and Experience
The post-closing representative must demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and
customer service.
• Two to five years’ experience in Post-Closing, Closing or Mortgage Lending
• Experience reviewing and preparing Post Consummation Closing Disclosures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to meet deadlines is imperative
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, including Excel and word documents
• Experience with Encompass loan origination system preferred
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
• Minimum 3 years of current Post Closing / Secondary market-related work experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and with large volumes of work.
• Advanced organization skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
appropriately.
• Demonstration of commitment to customer service.
High school diploma or equivalent required

Compensation: Inspire Home Loans intends to offer the selected candidate an hourly pay rate in the range of $27-$36 hourly. Actual offer will be based on a variety of factors including experience. Employees will have access to paid time off, medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance and the Company's 401k plan.
