Job Description
The POS Training Specialist will analyze training needs, develop training programs, and provide performance improvement consulting to partners in support of company initiatives.
Essential Functions:
- Field merchant, bank and sales rep calls daily to conduct demonstrations and answer a wide array of questions regarding various payments solutions, such as the Clover POS system
- Ensures that Celero’s merchants and partners are highly satisfied with their payment experience
- Provides a consistently positive experience to our clients when giving a demo of various systems to new and potential customers
- Maintaining a polite and calm demeanor on the phones when assisting Celero merchants
- Performs and maintains department standards and metrics regarding answering phones and assisting customers daily
- Collaborates with Account Executives to gather the appropriate information to resolve merchant problems and questions
- Provides assistance as needed throughout the Sales Team
- Attends and participates in job-related classes and webinars
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures, including safety standards
- Performs other job-related functions as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience with legacy retail or restaurant POS systems
- Clear, timely and concise communication via both phone and email to all Celero merchants
- Ability to learn about various software solutions and the ability to clearly and concisely deliver software demonstrations
- High Degree of Technical Troubleshooting ability
- Task oriented with an ability to handle a heavy call volume while prioritizing and maintaining organization to follow tasks to completion
- Experience with a CRM system is a plus
- Ability to meet or exceed daily, monthly, and annual quota achievement
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as take direction from senior team members
- Aptitude for understanding, interpreting, and analyzing financial-related data
- Commitment to continual job-related learning, including company systems
Education and Certification:
- High School Diploma required
