Titan Security is currently recruiting for Seasonal Pool Attendant / Security Officers to work Residential Buildings located in Chicago.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities of Seasonal Pool Attendant / Security Officers include, but are not limited to:
- Train and qualify to work assigned post, including on emergency post instructions, such as the location of Life Safety equipment such as Fire extinguishers, AEDS and emergency stairwells
- Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty.
- Identify all residents and/or visitors upon arrival. Confirm person(s) entering the pool area is a resident(s) and that they are accompanied by a permitted number of guests (if applicable).
- Respond to incidents including property emergencies.
- Clearly and accurately record data and logs, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, and malfunctioning of equipment, to building and Titan management.
- Conduct an initial and end of shift inspection of the pool area and determine that the pool and deck area is kept in a professional and presentable manner.
- Monitor for unsafe activity such as excessive alcohol consumption, rude and/or obnoxious behavior, running on the deck or pool area, diving, horseplay and use of glass containers.
- Guard against theft of tenant or building property.
- Place personal items that are left behind in Lost and Found; pick up towels, throw out garbage, etc.
- Notify maintenance of spills, if the grill needs cleaning or service, or trash needs to be picked up.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications of Pool Attendant / Security Officers: Must be at least 18 years of age. High School diploma or general education degree (GED) Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements. Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Able to read, write, speak, and understand English Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, sitting/standing for extended periods of time, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
Preferred Qualifications of Pool Attendant / Security Officers: 1 year experience as a Security Officer or in a customer service, retail, hotel or restaurant position. Bi-lingual considered a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
