ROLE OVERVIEW
The Pool & Beach Attendant is responsible for the overall service of the club members but most importantly the Pool & Beach members. The Pool & Beach Attendant responsibilities include set up of the Pool & Beach, assisting members, folding, and setting towels, setting the beach lounges, and keeping the Pool and Beach area clean. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. and be able to stand for extended periods of time. A flexible schedule is required, including weekends and holidays.
REQUIREMENTS
- Have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in the similar position, preferably in a luxury setting.
- Have excellent communication and organization skills.
- Must be able to greet and recognize our members by name.
- Must be able to work in a high-pace and dynamic operation.
- Able to work together with other colleagues.
- Have a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
- Maintain a clean and healthy personal hygiene and grooming.

- Comply with all Bath Club standards regarding grooming, conduct, policies, and procedures
- Ability to work outdoor, Pool and Beach environment.

- Always meet the club standards; dress, grooming, attendance, and punctuality; report to work and return from breaks on time; give advance notice when absence is anticipated; require typical amount of supervision.

JOB RESPONSABILITIES
- Morning duties- Open hut / check and refurbish towel supply; set up beach and pool; set up cabanas, lounges, cushions, place towels on chairs; write weather conditions on board.
- Sweep beach hut and surrounding areas.
- Issue towels to the members at the beach and pool.
- Closing Duties- Straighten chairs on beach and pool; return towels to laundry.
- Maintain Beach equipment: chairs, cushions, cabanas, umbrellas, etc.
- Complete all other duties and responsibilities as necessary as assigned by supervisor.
- Follow the Bath Club’s recommended safety, security, and emergency procedures. follows the club procedures for lifting heavy objects and use of tools to perform the job; reports potential security risks and hazardous conditions to management.
- Working closely with the chef and bar team to prepare and arrange food or drinks that are attractive and appetizing to the guests. Inspect food being served before it makes it to our members table and ensure it meets club standards.
- Stock according to service standards; inspect to ensure stock is adequate before beginning of service
- Complete side work to include preparing garnishes, stocking all areas with all required items for service, separating linen, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Working Conditions:
- Outdoor Pool and Beach environment.
- Food/Beverage Service knowledge is a plus.
- Six months to one year serving experience or customer service preferred.
- Read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
- Ability to communicate effectively with members and employees.
- Must have permission to work in the United States

Pay: $120.00 - $200.00 per day
