Beach Attendant

Complete daily set up and break down of lounge chairs and side tables at the beach and pool. Assist guests at beach facilities with towels, and any special requests courteously and efficiently, according to standards. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all supplies, equipment, work areas, and ensure guest safety and enjoyment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1-year experience in hospitality industry.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Speak, read and write fluently in English.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks with speed and accuracy.
• Work well in fast-paced, high-pressure situations with little to no supervision.
• Work well in a team and take initiative to achieve positive guest relations and maximize guest satisfaction.
• Committed to working rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Schedule vacations during the off-season months.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ABILITY TO:

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in an upright standing position for long periods; be able to reach overhead; have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
• Work in various positions including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, navigating the property quickly and easily as required to meet the job functions.
• Work in different environmental working conditions (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity).
• Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers.
• Pull and push materials and equipment up to 100 pounds to complete assigned job tasks while following appropriate safety procedures.
• Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.
• Determine accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned through visual acuity.
• Express and exchange ideas by means of the spoken word accurately, loudly and quickly.
• Perceive the nature of sounds at a normal speaking level and make fine discriminations in sound.
• Withstand a moderate noise level.
