- Communicate proactively with store personnel to alleviate their technical problems providing proper timelines and effectively securing their buy-in.
- Collaborate with employees across the company to maximize their work effectiveness by ensuring proper technology operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues related to POS solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure system stability and performance.
- Manage the processes to transfer funds between customers, merchants, and financial institutions.
- Provide technical assistance to merchants and financial team regarding payment processing issues.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in transactions
- Keep track of POS system inventories
- Generate and update proper documents to procure/secure devices
- Install and set up POS solutions at the stores
- Configure system settings to meet specific business requirements
- Offer training to store managers/cashiers, enabling them to make the best use of the system
- Conduct PoC to improve/expand the payment system and internal backend system.
- Develop/Automate new innovative features and apply to the system for enhancement.
- Perform compliance activities and establish day-to-day operation to meet requirements.
- Maintain site licenses, plan and implement IT security to meet legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, Information Technology/Computer Science
3~5 years as a POS system engineer/operator - Certificates preferred: Comptia A+ and/or ITIL
- Experience with Toshiba POS hardware system installation/operation is preferred
- Collaboration with merchant processors, PCI Compliance, and POS software development experience is a plus
- Understanding of payment system flow/structure
- Strong technical knowledge and skills, particularly in computer hardware and software.

- Bilingual(English/Korean)
