This role is responsible for reviewing source documents and records to confirm the pipeline coating along our liquid pipelines. A variety of sources will be used to research and confirm pipeline coating and PODS updates will be made based on findings.
Roles & Responsibilities
Utilize Data Maintenance applications to create, edit and review data entered into a working database from multiple sources
Data completeness, accuracy, and compliance with PODS and client documented data workflow procedures are all critical requirements of this role:

oThe data research will include reviewing source documents such as field notes, alignment sheets, detail drawings, survey data, material purchasing and mill test records, and various other document types
oData consistency checks are also to be made using custom applications and SQL queries prior to loading working data records into the production database
Work at the direction of Team Lead and Direct Supervisor
Follow all PODS related procedures and technical guides for maintaining the work scope
Requirements
Qualified individual will need to have experience performing pipeline as-built work or maintaining pipeline databases, such as PODS, UPDM, ISAT, or APDM data models
Skills / Qualifications:
oPrior exposure to pipeline coating types, products, and manufacturers
oPrior pipeline and/or facility as-built experience required
oProficient in ESRI ArcGIS software at a minimum, preferred to have a strong domain of experience working with ESRI ArcGIS software and within an enterprise GIS
oExperience working with PODS, ISAT, APDM or other types of pipeline data models
oHighly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Access, & Word
oWork well within team and take direction from lead
oAble to follow process and procedure as directed
oAble to make sound decisions based on program guidelines and direction from Team Lead and/or Direct Supervisor
oThe individual must be self-motivated, able to organize and prioritize daily work to meet schedules and objectives
oAble to be productive with minimal supervision
oEffective communication skills, both oral and written
Soft Skills:
oAble to work within a team, take direction from supervisor, adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details and follow work rules
oUtilize effective teamwork skills to achieve project goals, solve problems and manage conflict
oAbility to successfully work remotely for the initial duration of this contract position
