Form of workPosition overview: Theexciting, fast-growing Aerospace Defense Federal and Marine (ADFM) team isactively recruiting for a Professional Services Project Manager! As a SiemensProfessional Services Project Manager, you will lead a large project withnumerous project delivery teams, assisting our customers in realizing the valueof a PLM solution. You will establish and communicate clear project prioritiesand activities.
This role is the point of contact to align the customer,partners, and the Siemens delivery teams. Aspart of the Professional Services team, you will collaborate with Consultants,Solution Architects, Project Managers, Industry Experts, and ProductDevelopment teams to ensure project and customer success. Thisposition will report directly to the ADFM Director of Project Delivery.
Thisteam consists of eighteen Project and Program Managers. Responsibilities Work with Sales and Services Management to initiate, review, and acquire agreement on project governance with the customer Define and communicate project roles and responsibilities Drive the customer to realize value from Siemens PLM Solutions and guide the customer through the Siemens PLM Delivery Framework Conduct partner management through detailed identification, analysis, and planning of actions to mediate with and influence partners Set up all required processes in alignment with all partners, establishing appropriate communication on all levels for a project Proactively supervise the projects' overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective and preventive action as appropriate Perform project risk management, including planning, identification, analysis, response planning, and controlling Implement organizational transition at the project level to ensure the dependencies of the change are reflected and understood. Orchestrate project timeline to ensure timely delivery.
Review and identify critical paths and lead project dependencies. Perform project quality management, ensure the solution meets requirements, and lead compliance with standards, rules, and regulations. Perform project reviews and retrospectives regularly and foster the results and lessons learned into the organization to strengthen the Siemens PLM Delivery Framework.
Ensure the project delivers to the approved budget and agreed margin and that are both regularly reviewed. Implement project management activities to control scope, cost, schedule, and quality. Advise the work of employees and subcontractors assigned to the project.
Optimally communicate project progress with the customer and support customer adoption. Together with Engagement Management, identify and build additional opportunities within and beyond the ongoing project. Grow the business through follow-on service contracts or project change orders to scope.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or equivalent knowledge of PLM Multiple years of experience as a Project Manager for Teamcenter solutions or comparable products, such as Enovia, ePMD, Windchill, Aras Innovator, or Agile Previous leadership experience with Enterprise PLM, ERP, or MES implementations with project budgets over $1M US Experience leading a group of professional architects and consultants during a software implementation to achieve results Multiple years of experience in a customer-facing environment advising a team Connect with a high degree of creativity, self-confidence, and persuasiveness An initiative-taker with effective presentation skills at all levels throughout an organization Certification in Project Management from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or International Project Management Association (IPMA) or equivalent Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% QualifiedApplicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Thetotal cash compensation range for this position is $101,700 to $203,400 with10% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target.
The actualcompensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location aswell as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, andrelevant education/training.
