CERTIFICATION/QUALIFICATIONS: A current teacher with the Braxton County Board of Education - facilitators must teach in the grade-level or content-specific area of the PLC facilitating.

- To help educators develop a common vocabulary and a consistent understanding of the PLC process
- To assist educators with using student evidence to inform and improve professional practice and respond to students who need intervention or enrichment
- Participate in training as provided by Braxton County Schools and others
- Nurture relationships among the team members
- Provide guidance and structure during the PLC time
- Foster a culture of collaboration

ADDITIONAL MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause by another school district are not eligible for consideration; applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations are not to be considered eligible for consideration; applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration; and, applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations will not be eligible for consideration.
