COMPANY OVERVIEW: Eagle Beverage is a manufacturer of specialty beverage and plastic consumer products. The company is looking for dynamic, energetic and committed Junior Mechanics.
GENERAL SCOPE: The Junior Mechanic is responsible for day-to-day production operations (performance) of all production lines and reports to the Equipment Maintenance Manager.
Eagle Beverage is a producer of Plastics Extrusion products dedicated to the highest levels of customer service. Eagle Beverage is an SQF Level II certified organization operating to meet the strict standards of food safety and security.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure all production lines are operating smoothly and efficiently throughout the day.
- Set up day’s production according to Daily Production Plan.
- Perform machine setup and calibration for individual products along with alignment/adjustment as needed during ongoing production.
- Perform machine change-overs on products.
- Monitor all packaging/raw materials movements to designated production line.
- Responsible for full line inspections to find, fix, and resolve any downtime.
- Assist in necessary preventive maintenance work on production lines.
- Monitor product inspections by QC personnel.
- Perform a shift turn over with next shifts EPS to discuss the events of the day and issues that were faced.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- High School diploma required.
- HACCP and SQF certifications or experience preferred.
- Works independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees.
- Problem solving skills; exercises good judgment in determining best method and procedure to be followed.
Experience
- Two (2) or more years of experience in production environment, manufacturing quality or other related field preferred.
- Experience with extrusion or packaging production equipment preferred.
- Or any combination of education and experience that provides the same expertise.

Availability: This position is available for immediate hire.
Shifts: Day or night shifts, 12 hour shifts. Work week alternates between 3 and 4 days of work (7 work days over two weeks)
