Automation Personnel Services is looking for Plastic Injection Molding Technician to work for a company based in Saint Petersburg, FL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated industrial plastic molding machines.
Pay Rate:
$27.00 - $30.00 per hour; depending on experience
Schedule and hours
Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, some Saturdays are required and must be able to work overtime.
Plastic Injection Molding Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance to Plastic Injection Molding machines, conveyor belts, gear box, etc.
- Determination of root causes of mechanical problems on machines such as feeder bowl issues, pick-and-place part transfer issues and part nesting alignment issues.
- Read manuals to understand equipment and controls.
- Disassemble machinery and equipment when it needs maintenance or repair.
- Perform tests and operate machinery to ensure it functions properly.
- Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications.
Plastic Injection Molding Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4+ years Industrial Maintenance experience/ manufacturing troubleshooting.
- Experienced in general and preventative maintenance / repair of industrial production equipment, building and facilities, including analysis and diagnostics.
- Experienced with all working tools, AC / DC electrical systems, PLC, calibrated measuring instruments, hydraulic / pneumatic systems.
- Able to read and interpret diagrams, charts, schematics, documents
