Pay Rate: $17.00 M-F 6:30am-3pm
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Plant Worker to join out team in Gary, IN. As a Plant Worker, you will p;lay a crucial role in the proper handling and disposal of waste materials. Your primary responsibilities will include unloading waste from incoming vehicles, separating non-auto cleavable waste, scanning waste into bio systems for proper recording, and loading auto clave bins.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
– Unloading waste from incoming vehicles
– Separtating non-auto cleavable waste
-Scanning waste into bio systems for proper recording
-Loading auto clave bins
-Lifting, walking, and bending
-Lifiting objects up to 55 lbs
– Scanning bar codes accurately
– Demonstrating knowledge of hazardous materials thrhough OSHA guidelines
-Passing Background check
Requirements:
– Minimum of one year related experience or training in similar role
– Ability to lift Heavy objects and perform physical tasks
-Proficiency in scanning barcodes and recording data accurately
-Kowledge of hazardous materials handling procedures as per OSHA guildelines
-ability to pass background check
