Plant Operations Tech / Maintenance

Plant Operations Tech is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, systems and structures throughout the facility.  Full time position.  Shift is week days.  Required to take call on rotating nights and weekends.  Benefits:  paid time off, medical, dental, vision, disability, life, flexible spending account, 401(k), education assistance

Duties

·   Under limited supervision repairs and maintains hospital buildings, grounds, and equipment.

·   Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and systems as scheduled or needed.

·   Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons.

·   Inspects, tests, and maintains records for all fire risers, sprinklers, extinguishers, fire doors, and other fire/safety related equipment and systems.

·   Skilled use of various hand tools, power tools, and equipment.

·   Moves items within/between locations and from/to storage.

·   Previous maintenance and Plant Operations experience required

·   Experience with healthcare codes and guidelines preferred
