The Plant Manager reports into the VP of Operations and provides leadership and guidance for the safe and efficient operation of a hydro-electro chemical metal recycling plant.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensures that assigned plant operations demonstrate world-class safety performance. Provides Process Safety Management (PSM) leadership in a High Hazard Process environment.
- Champions operational discipline and works to develop a best-in-class team.
- Establish, sustain, and improve standard operating systems.
- Champion, support, and assist with implementation of HR initiatives.
- Provide regular updates and maintain KPIs regarding safety, quality, cost, & delivery
- Collaborates with other leaders to effectively utilize leveraged resources as required.
- Effectively communicate and interface with Customers when required.
- Accountable for total site cost and capital expenditures (P&L); as well as being compliant with all corporate systems and processes.
- Promotes and supports change in response to ongoing business needs.
- Collaborates to establish and modify plant operations, policies, and goals towards improving plant profitability in all areas.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EDUCATION:
- 7+ Years of previous leadership in a highly focused safety organization; chemical processing or refinery industry
- BS Degree, Engineering or Equivalent Technical Science Required
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal skills
