The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day production areas of the plant and their employees. Establishing production goals, safety standards, and production processes that maximize production activities. Creating and managing production budgets, collecting, reviewing data to reduce inefficiencies and waste, analyzing data, creating reports to present to executives regarding processes, overseeing work schedules to ensure coverage, and performing routine safety checks on equipment.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Strong communication/ leadership skills.
- Good math and measurement skills.
- Independent and self-motivated.
- Great problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory skills, including training, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
- Thorough knowledge of company health, safety, and environmental policies
- Extensive knowledge of production processes and equipment. Ability to lead change management initiatives.
- Minimum 7 years of plant management experience.
- Experience in metal foundry, chemical, or similar industry is desired.
- Chemical/materials/metallurgical/mechanical engineer preferred.

Salary: $69,390.92 - $83,567.55 per year
