A Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Manager oversees the implementation and operation of our HRIS (Kronos/UKG PRO). HRIS Manager responsibilities include processing employee data, producing HR-related reports and ensuring compliance with relevant local and national regulations. To be successful in this role, they should be familiar with databases and HR software like payroll systems and Applicant Tracking Systems.
Ultimately, this position will ensure our HR Information Systems meet our business needs and are functional and cost-effective.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of our HR Information Systems
- Collect necessary data for reporting.
- Collaborate with our IT staff to perform regular tests and upgrades to our HRIS
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and other data protection regulations.
- Audit expenses related to benefit payouts.
- Assemble information regarding benefits products such as insurance, 401K, and vacation time.
- Conduct cost analyses and participate in selecting benefits for employees.
- Supply employees with documents related to enrolling, maintaining, and understanding their benefits coverage.
- Answer any questions regarding details of benefits.
- Report to management all data on disbursement and enrollment in programs
- Update company records with information relevant to each employee's enrollment.
- Communicate with benefit providers to ensure services are supplied according to agreement.
Requirements
- 3-5 Years of work experience as an HRIS Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of labor legislation
- Understanding of data protection regulations
- Hands-on experience with HR database administration
- Familiarity with payroll systems and ATS (UKG Pro is preferred)
- Analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Conflict resolution skills
