Annual Salary Range $58,870.60 - $76,548.67
SUMMARY STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Work under the direction of the Director and Deputy Director of the Housing & Community Development Department in advancing the overall planning and development and infrastructure agenda for the City. The Planner/Project Manager shall bring demonstrated practical experience in the community planning process and its component project management activities with a regard for neighborhood planning; transportation and traffic movement and safety; streetscape; infrastructure; and park and open space planning. Provide advice and expertise in project management including consultant management and the practical aspects of plan development and specifications. As designated, will represent the Department with local, state and federal agencies, and general citizenry and business community on matters related to planning, transportation, open space, and infrastructure concerns of the City. Responsibilities and duties encompass all actions that ensure task completion with quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- BS/BA in Planning, Urban Studies, Transportation Planning, or a related field.
Experience
- Three (3) years of similarly responsible experience in private or municipal planning.
- A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
