Pizza Maker

Job Summary:
As a Pizza Maker, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. This role requires attention to detail, a passion for food, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Pizza Maker plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by consistently delivering delicious and visually appealing pizzas.

Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation:
• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings following specified recipes.
• Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in pizza preparation.
• Monitor and manage inventory of pizza ingredients, notifying the kitchen manager of any shortages.
• Pizza Assembly:
• Stretch and shape pizza dough to the required size and thickness.
• Apply sauces, cheese, and toppings in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
• Follow customer specifications and special requests for pizza orders.
• Cooking and Baking:
• Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment to bake pizzas to perfection.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistent quality.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and storage.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect the quality of ingredients before use to ensure freshness and adherence to standards.
• Check finished pizzas for accuracy, presentation, and overall quality.
• Address any issues with food quality or preparation promptly.
• Cleanliness and Sanitation:
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
• Adhere to sanitation and hygiene standards, following proper handwashing and food safety procedures.
• Customer Service:
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order completion.
• Address customer inquiries and special requests with a positive and customer-centric attitude.
• Teamwork:
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to streamline operations and maintain a smooth workflow.
• Assist in other kitchen duties as needed.
• Adaptability:
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle peak hours effectively.
• Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in pizza making or a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of pizza dough preparation, baking techniques, and various pizza styles.
• Ability to follow recipes and adhere to quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
