Andes Heart and Vascular Center is seeking a Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our Cardiology team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.

This role will work closely with the Physician to provide comprehensive care to patients with advancing illness both in the hospital and clinic setting. The Advanced Practitioner will also work with practice staff to manage pain and symptoms, address goals of care and treatment plans and provide guidance and education to patients and families.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations on patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and other treatments
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Assist with discharge planning for hospitalized patients
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient encounters
Skills:
- Bilingual, Spanish preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Proficient in coding and billing practices
- Familiarity with workers compensation laws and regulations
- Ability to provide acute care for patients with complex medical conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 based on experience per year + bonus incentives
