Physician Assistant Position

This Physician Assistant Position will be responsible for participating on primarily evaluating and managing patients with Autism & ADHD; under physician supervision. Services include Telemedicine and In-office patient encounters.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities includes:
- Welcome all patients and answers parents calling for questions in a professional caring manner.
- Document all patient care in our EMR
- Supervise Medical Assistants and other supportive staff
- Abide, orient and help others (patients and staff) follow established office policies and procedures.
- Finish the end of the day closing duties.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Attend regular staff meetings.
- Participate in cross training to be able to cover according to practice needs.
- Perform other duties as assign.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certification required.
- One (1) year of medical experience (preferred).
- Customer service experience (preferred).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to be collaborative and effectively communicate with patient.
- Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations; respond promptly to customer’s needs; solicit customer feedback to improve service.
- Ability to have strong sense of urgency and be proactive.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with stressful situations.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
