Position: Physical Therapy Assistant

Location:West Palm Beach, FL

Hourly: $29-39/hr based on experience. Will be discussed in more detail during the in person interview.

Shift: 8am-4:30p

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant with at least 1 year of experience. This Physical Therapist will specialize in helping patients restore mobility, manage pain, and improve their physical function and quality of life. They will use various techniques, exercises, and interventions to address musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions.

Duties:

• Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for managing their conditions and preventing future injuries
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in Physical Therapy techniques and treatments

Expectations:

• Evaluate patients' conditions, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to enhance their physical well-being.
• Work closely with patients, guiding them through exercises and techniques to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, provide pain management strategies, and monitor progress throughout the treatment process. Optimize patients functional abilities and help them regain independence in their daily lives.
• Identify and meet patients goals and needs
• Offer effective treatments that help improve clients motion and mobility

Qualifications:

• Certificate from an accredited program
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
