Job Description
Performance Requirements:
- Treat patients according to the treatment plan of care developed by and under the supervision of the Licensed Physical Therapist.
- Communicate with the Physical Therapist any pertinent information concerning patient progress, problems and plans.
- Be proficient in manual therapy need to treat patients based on their presentation and instructions given by Physical Therapist.
- Participate in Patient Plan of Care Meetings if asked by the Physical Therapist.
- Record treatment notes, progress notes, provide objective input for discharge summaries and complete daily billing of services per policy and procedures.
- Participate in discharge planning under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
- Recommend any needed equipment to the Physical Therapist.
- Comply with the Physical Therapy Assistant Licensure and Certification Standards.
- Accept other duties assigned.
- Exercise good judgment in the performance of the job and be able to progress and regress patients as needed.
- Successfully incorporate technology into daily practice as deemed by the Company.
