Physical Therapy Assistant

We are looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant in a busy outpatient multidisciplinary office. The Physical Therapy Assistant must be licensed to apply. We do have a 90-day probationary period. After we will perform an evaluation and the employee will also be eligible for health, vision and dental benefits.
Performance Requirements:

• Treat patients according to the treatment plan of care developed by and under the supervision of the Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with the Physical Therapist any pertinent information concerning patient progress, problems and plans.
• Be proficient in manual therapy need to treat patients based on their presentation and instructions given by Physical Therapist.
• Participate in Patient Plan of Care Meetings if asked by the Physical Therapist.
• Record treatment notes, progress notes, provide objective input for discharge summaries and complete daily billing of services per policy and procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Recommend any needed equipment to the Physical Therapist.
• Comply with the Physical Therapy Assistant Licensure and Certification Standards.
• Accept other duties assigned.
• Exercise good judgment in the performance of the job and be able to progress and regress patients as needed.
• Successfully incorporate technology into daily practice as deemed by the Company.
