Physical Therapy Aide

Norwood-Needham Physical Therapyis a privately owned outpatient Physical Therapy clinic looking for a motivated and energetic Physical Therapy Aideto support our physical therapists. This position will require aide to work at both locations. We are NOT looking for summer only help.

We have an immediate opening for a full time and part time Physical Therapy Aide. A background in exercise science, athletic training, or personal training is preferred however will consider any strong candidate for the role.

You will be a crucial component of the Physical Therapy team by helping physical therapists deliver quality care to their patients. In this role, you will be assisting with patient intakes, preparing equipment and treatment areas, and assisting with patient exercises as instructed by the physical therapist.

Physical Therapist Aide Job Duties:

• Prepare treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
• Help treat patients by applying heat and ice packs; helping patients onto exercise equipment; guiding patients through prescribed exercise programs under direct supervision of the physical therapist.
• Educate patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
• Provide general cleaning and upkeep of treatment area.
• Working at the reception desk to greet patients, schedule treatments, and coordinate the therapist's schedules.
