Location: The incumbent of this position will work at Lakeside and Millard Clinics while buidling a caseload at the new Elkhorn Clinic, eventually taking full time clientele at Elkhorn.
Join our team of experienced pelvic floor therapists. Seeking someone with experience in Pelvic Health and/or open to learning and treating all genders. We would support their educational needs to become a highly trained and skilled therapist with formal courses, formal preceptor training, and peer workgroups to improve and grow new skills.
As our Physical Therapist at CHI Health Clinic, you’ll help our patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing following an illness, injury, or issues with aging. Using a full body approach, you will help patients enhance pelvic floor function to keep them functioning at their best level. You’re always ready for the next task. You’ll provide pelvic floor physical therapy treatments including bowel/bladder retraining, neuromuscular reeducation, manual therapy and lifestyle modifications. This environment is fast-paced but full of collaborative and supportive team members willing to offer help, advice, or mentoring at any time. To thrive as a pelvic floor Physical Therapist, you must be a team player. You’ll constantly collaborate with physicians, therapists, patients, and their families to seek the best possible treatment outcome. You should be personable, positive, and motivated to provide quality care to a wide variety of patients every day.
Responsibilities
- Work with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and therapists to develop and execute a treatment plan for each patient
- Perform initial patient evaluations as well as re-evaluations to indicate the level of progress
- Document all treatments and note any status changes
- Tailor treatments to individual patients as needed - don’t be afraid to think creatively or do a little extra
- Seek new learning opportunities and be a resource when others need to learn from you
- Consistently offer the best care possible to every patient
Qualifications
Required Education: Any combination of BS, MS, MPT, DPT.
Required Licensure and Certification: Active physical therapy license in the state of Nebraska or physical therapy licensure compact. American Heart Association BLS.
