Responsibilities:
- Patient Evaluation and Treatment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition, medical history, and rehabilitation needs. Develop personalized treatment plans to address patients' specific goals and conditions. Provide hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and function.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and allied health specialists such as physical and massage therapists, to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Space Development and Design: Collaborate with Dr. Miller and ownership to develop and design a dedicated physical therapy space within our practice. Utilize your expertise to create an optimal working environment that enhances patient care and supports professional goals.
- Technology Integration: Utilize electronic health records (EHRs), iPads, laptops, and other digital resources to document patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. Take ownership of handling technology-related tasks, ensuring accurate and detailed documentation of patient care.
- Community Engagement: Engage with the Anchorage community through outreach events and educational seminars to promote awareness of physical therapy services. Represent Apex Neurosurgery as a trusted provider of spine care and wellness.
