Overview:
Ancora Home Health & Hospice in Alaska is now hiring a Physical Therapist for an expanded caseload in the Anchorage, AK area. The PT will provide community-based services to homes and Senior Living Communities in the area. The full-time, part-time, or PRN position includes a flexible schedule/hours per week.
The Physical Therapist hired will join a highly experienced multidisciplinary therapy team to treat a well-balanced mix of patients in the homes of older adults. This hourly position includes a generous benefits package & the opportunity for overtime pay!
Caseload:
The Physical Therapist hired will work with a variety of diagnoses, mostly general orthopedics. The patient population is geriatrics.
Work Schedule:
This full-time, part-time, or PRN position includes working primarily Monday through Friday, but the work schedule is flexible based on the availability of the candidate hired. Within this role, you will enjoy an excellent work/life balance.
Compensation and Benefits:
Physical Therapists are paid a competitive hourly rate based on experience. A brand-new grad can expect to receive a rate in the ballpark of $52 per hour. The compensation package will increase based on the experience of the candidate hired.
Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and a retirement plan. Professional development is encouraged and includes reimbursement for CEUs. A sign-on bonus is available for full-time.
Job Requirements:
Graduation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (or equivalent standing).
Eligible for Alaska state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
New graduate PTs will be considered.
Full-time availability is preferred. Candidates with part-time and PRN availability will also be considered.
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable automobile with proof of insurance.
