Responsibilities: - Assist the Physical Therapist in providing patient care and treatment plans - Perform therapeutic exercises and activities under the guidance of the Physical Therapist - Administer modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and hot/cold packs - Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities - Document patient progress and maintain accurate records - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Requirements: - Valid license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant - Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred - Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology - Familiarity with trigger point therapy techniques - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Knowledge of occupational health practices and protocols As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting patients on their road to recovery.
