Mix Metal Operator

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pour zinc and aluminum in open face molds to create sacrificial anodes.
• Read and interpret drawings for production.
• Measure components and finished goods.
• To receive, put away, pick, pack, ship and inventory merchandise in a safe, productive and accurate manner. Associates will be cross-trained in multiple areas.
• Stock raw materials and molds on shelves.
• Track labor and materials using ERP system.
• Perform cycle counts
• Re-label product per customer's requirements
• Familiar with bar code labels and scanners.
• Maintain production equipment.
• Operate small machinery, Iron maker and Press.
• Perform other related duties, special projects or assignments as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to be trained/ licensed to operate powered equipment as assigned
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and safety/security guidance.
• Must be highly detailed and organized
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Ability to communicate with Customer's in a positive manner
• Actively support team concepts and effectively communicate with team members
• Focus and remain on task in a fast paced environment
• Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate customer demands; possess a can-do attitude and ability to prioritize in a changing work environment.
• Working knowledge of computer programs
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
• Ability to be able to complete repetitive functions including walking, bending, reaching, stooping, twisting and lifting
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
