Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to assist in providing treatment and rehabilitation services to patients. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patients' mobility, relieve pain, and improve overall physical fitness.

The ideal candidate will possess a genuine desire to help patients achieve their optimal health and well-being. The work schedule could be flexible and will be discussed in person. Responsibilities:
1. Treat patients' conditions according to developed treatment plans by Physical Therapist
2. Provide hands-on assistance to patients during therapy sessions, ensuring proper technique and safety measures.
3. Implement therapeutic exercises, stretches, and other treatment interventions as instructed by the Physical Therapist.
4. Track patients' progress by documenting and recording treatment sessions, outcomes, and any changes in condition.
5. Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to be performed at home to promote recovery and maintain optimal health.
6. Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any adverse reactions or complications during therapy sessions.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques, equipment, and research to provide the most effective treatments and improve patient outcomes.
8. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards at all times.
Requirements:
1. Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
2. Valid NJ license as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
3. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred BUT New Grads are welcome as well!
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
5. Physical stamina and ability to assist and support patients during therapy sessions.
6. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
8. Commitment to providing quality patient care and delivering outstanding customer service.
