Job Summary
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists to implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients across diverse age groups and conditions in a general outpatient clinic setting
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities under the guidance of a Licensed Physical Therapist, fostering patient recovery and mobility improvement
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records, ensuring effective communication within the healthcare team
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies to enhance long-term outcomes
• Foster a compassionate and supportive environment, promoting patient engagement and compliance with prescribed treatment plans
• Opportunities exist for specialized training in lymphedema and pelvic health, expanding expertise in these areas to provide tailored care for specific patient populations
Qualifications
Education
- Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy
- Ten week clinical practice from educational program
- Physical Therapy Assistant graduate eligible for Oklahoma Licensure
Licensure / Certification
- Licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Examiners
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
Compensation
- $28.960-$35.93/hr based on previous work experience
