Job Summary

The Physical Security Specialist assists in helping protect the company's assets by ensuring
Physical Security controls are in place and maintained. Physical Security controls include but
are not limited to Burglar/Fire Alarm systems, CCTV, Safes, and management of any off- duty
security that are in place in various locations. This role requires a proactive, comprehensive,
and hands-on approach to managing all aspects of Physical Security.

Your Key Job Functions

Help build/maintain existing Security Vendor relationships to ensure the best product/service
is being delivered to the company.
Be an active participant in helping maintain the Burglar/Fire Alarm system at each location
by working with the vendor to ensure any repairs are completed in a timely manner. Other
functions in this area include training of field management of use of system, ensuring alarm
code integrity is maintained, and being the subject matter expert in all things alarm system
related.
Ensure each restaurant's safe is operating properly and will work closely with the company's
safe vendor to ensure the vendor is completing repairs in a timely manner. Will also work
closely with the Treasury Department/Armored Car to ensure the armored car company has
a working key to each safe's deposit compartment to include keeping and maintaining an
inventory of safe keys. Will facilitate and be the subject matter expert in the rekeying of all
safes.
Oversee the applicable restaurant camera systems to ensure they are functioning properly,
closely working with the company's camera vendors when maintenance/repair/replacement
is needed. Will work with the Construction Department to design and place cameras for new
locations being built.
Serve as a law enforcement liaison to retrieve any historical camera footage as needed as
well as retrieval of any historical camera footage to assist in any company investigation.
Oversee and be the point person for the company's security vendors that staff for off duty
police officers and guards in some restaurant locations to ensure the correct times/days are
being scheduled and constantly vetting the need for the continuation of the post.
Complete administrative functions to include the receiving, account coding, and submission
of invoices for payment for Security related expenses.
Assist with any Security related investigation when needed in areas that could include
Burglaries, Robberies, or any other Theft/Fraud related matters.

What You Bring to the Team

Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to internal and external
stakeholders.
Ability to work independently with little supervision and prioritize workload
Basic knowledge of Burglar and Fire Alarm systems/Camera Systems
Analytical ability to assess current programs and design/develop/present new ideas for
improvement.
Flexibility in working outside normal business hours.
PSP ASIS Certification preferred
