This is photographer position available out of our Fort Collins office working 3-4 days/week with a schedule of Saturday/Sunday/Monday.
Previous photography experience is helpful, but not required. More essential to the position than professional photography experience is the ability to multi-task, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude while working in a remote setting in all kinds of weather.
As a photographer for Rocky Mountain Adventures, you would be responsible for shooting photos of our customers as they raft the Cache la Poudre River through the Poudre Canyon. To capture different trips taking place simultaneously, you will need to move quickly between photo sites along the river. The photos are uploaded and displayed for customers when they return from their trip. You would also be responsible for helping to promote the sales of these photos.
RMA provides camera equipment but you are welcome to use your own if you prefer. You will need to use your own vehicle so a reliable vehicle is a must; mileage reimbursement will be given. You will spend the majority of your day outdoors by the river, so being prepared to enjoy work in all kinds of weather is essential.
We try and maintain a consistent schedule from week to week, but it doesn’t always happen so we ask you to be flexible. We keep at least 2 photographers on staff and correspond schedules accordingly.
Please note that at the time of hire you will need to provide a copy of your driver’s license, a motor vehicle report issued by your state’s motor vehicle office, proof of vehicle insurance, and any other appropriate certifications.
